Community Collaborations

Collaborative murals are an excellent way to engage your community in creating a long-lasting, high-impact art project. Collaborative murals operate like giant paint-by-numbers. I draw the outlines, establish & number a color palette, and guide others to fill in the shapes. This can be a very empowering activity, especially for those who do not view themselves as artists.

Since painting hundreds of square feet in the Miami Children's Hospital in 2013 along with 4 other artists and dozens of volunteers, I have painted many other large-scale murals—some temporary, some permanent, some collaborative, and some individual—for organizations like Rohi's Readery, Inspire Recovery, CampOUT Florida, Haus of QUOTA, Compass LGBTQ+ Community Center and more. My murals are known for their bright colors, emphasis on pride and joy, and flat, linear style as to invite collaboration from others who can "barely paint in the lines."
